The haute couture designation is a government-mandated certification for French maisons, overseen by the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture. 16 French brand members that are legally allowed to participate in the couture week, as well as 18 guest international members and 7 correspondent members that produce garments on a couture scale will showcase their recent creations at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week.
