On 24 September 2026, Fashion Vibes Milano presents THE NEXT CHAPTER — SS’27, bringing together four international designers whose collections explore some of the most compelling questions shaping contemporary fashion today: the future of the human form, the inheritance of memory, the evolution of female identity and the dialogue between cultures.
Presented in the heart of Milan during Milan Fashion Week, THE NEXT CHAPTER is conceived not simply as a sequence of runway shows, but as a curated fashion narrative.
MILAGROS ANCHEITA — BAROC-CORAZÓN
Milagros Ancheita, together with Giovanni Petrillo, co-founder of the brand, presents the Spring/Summer 2027 collection BAROC-CORAZÓN, which celebrates the encounter between Italian Baroque and the soul of Mexico.
The title of the collection is born from the symbolic fusion of two words: Barocco and Corazón: two languages, two cultures, and one universal expression of beauty.
Each garment becomes a meeting point between the precision of Italian tailoring and the cultural memory of Mexico. Silhouettes are enriched through hand embroidery created by Huichol and Chamula Indigenous communities, traditional weaving techniques, the delicate craftsmanship of Tehuana artisans from the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, and visual references inspired by the artistic universe of Frida Kahlo.
The collection embraces the expressive richness of Baroque through vibrant colours, crystals, hand-painted fabrics, embroidered lace embellished with precious stones, and theatrical headpieces. Sculptural volumes and elaborate details evoke the magnificence of Italian Baroque and the dramatic elegance of the great productions of Teatro alla Scala in Milan, while remaining rooted in the emotional power of Mexican culture.
At its core, BAROC-CORAZÓN is an act of preservation and celebration of artisanal heritage, honouring the communities that continue to safeguard ancestral textile techniques passed down through generations, while celebrating the excellence of Made in Italy and the value of craftsmanship, quality, and human touch. Created in Italy by Italian seamstresses and Mexican master artisans under the creative direction of Milagros Ancheita, the garments bring together two exceptional traditions of making, transforming cultural memory into a contemporary expression of couture.
